I've rediscovered Marmite

I'm so tired, my eyes hurt. Do you ever get that? I'm also dehydrated as I drank very little water today, and after this past weekend's worth of riding, that was just foolish. But I was distracted today and not paying attention to what I needed. Instead, I spent most of my morning and all of my afternoon out of town helping others out. It was a good day, the kind of day I need to have more often (only I don't wish misfortune on others). Like I told my father, it was nice to pull my head out of my own ass and focus on others for a change. Perspective is truly a blessing and terribly under rated.

I'm home now and about to pass out, so I'm likely hitting the hay pile earlier rather than later. I've got to be up early as I've decided to leave town again tomorrow and go back to help out again (same folks and for the same reason). Yup, two days of caring about others and being of use. Of course, this means my apartment stays in slobs-ville another day, but really, there are worse things in life.

Oh, and I've rediscovered Marmite. I had it for dinner, spread on toast topped with turkey bacon and a side of cherries. Odd evening meal, I know, but I was too tired to throw anything else together. It was quite good if you like Marmite. If you've never tried it, be warned, a little goes a long, long way!

I think this may be one of my shortest entries ever, but that's it. Knacker me out and you get brevity of blabbering. Go figure...
